Growing up in Baltimore, MD, Ariana Miller trained at Dancemoves Studio of Dance learning all styles including ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical/contemporary, musical theater and more. Dancing in the competition scene, she was awarded various top awards, achievements and scholarships, many of which led her to train at different workshops and intensives throughout the US. Ariana was invited by the prestigious Dr. Ben Carson himself to perform at his annual Gala and she was honored with being named a Maryland Distinguished Scholar in Dance in 2010. After spending a year in New York City at Marymount Manhattan College as a dance major, Ariana was offered a contract dancing and performing as a featured and principal dancer for Disney Cruise Lines on the 2011 and 2012 #1 cruise ship in the world and then was promoted to Dance Captain and Female Swing before the age of 20. Ariana has had the privilege to work with choreographers like Braham Crane and Ashle Dawson and has danced alongside the famed Tony Dovolani from Dancing with the Stars as his assistant. She has had the pleasure of choreographing for various studios and schools throughout Maryland including Patapsco High School and Center for the Performing Arts and her choreography for Dancemoves Studio of Dance has won various awards throughout the competition scene. Ariana has also had the opportunity to be the head choreographer at the 2012 America’s Miss National Pageant and as a judge for the East Coast USA Pageant System. Along with her dance and vocal training, Ariana spent time training in the aerial arts including spanish web, silks and hoop at the Toronto School of Circus Arts. riana has a strong passion for dance and theater and loves sharing that passion and excitement with her students and peers.
