Preparing for the CAMP ROCK 2 Tour
Bgirl Shorty began dancing at the young age of eleven. While training in all forms of dance at her parents traditional dance studio, she was drawn to breakin’ and the freedom of all street styles of dance. At twelve years old, Shorty went out on the basketball court of a Utah Jazz game and dazzled the crowd with her backspins and uprocks. She never looked back and after performing in the 2002 Winter Olympics she made the move to Los Angeles to pursue her dream.
Shorty can be seen dancing in a number of films including Stick It, Date Movie, Step Up 2 the Streets, Bring It On All Or Nothing and Camp Rock 2. She has also danced for Pink, Miley Cyrus, and T-Pain. Representing for The Beat Freaks is a fusion of her street and commercial dance styles and a forum to do what she loves.
