Brendan Yeates

Born in regional Australia, Brendan Yeates attended his local dance school before studying at Bartuccio Dance and Promotion Centre and the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School with private vocal tuition from Tim Smith, Gary May and Nicholas McMahon. Since graduating in 2005, Brendan has appeared in numerous theatrical productions and independent contemporary dance pieces. Music Theatre credits include the role of Diesel/Dance Captain in West Side Story (BB Promotion) and Older Billy Cover/Ensemble in Billy Elliot The Musical (Louise Withers and Associates). He has also worked internationally for Disney, P&O and Royal Caribbean International (Dance Captain/Aerial Silks). Brendan’s screen credits include: Assistant Choreography on So You Think You Can Dance (Fremantle Media), Thank God You’re Here (Channel 7), various appearances on The Footy Show (GTV9), Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards (Nickelodeon) and the film Salaam Namaste (Black Cat/Yash Raj Films). Most recently, Brendan has completed extensive training in television hosting and on-camera acting in Los Angeles with Maureen Browne and Open Door Productions.
