Dianne has been dancing for the past 21 years and has been involved in competitive dance for 19 years. She is a 5th year member of the Allure Dance Company. She is a 2008 graduate of L'Anse Creuse High School North. Starting her training at Encore the dance center, Dianne then moved to Dancer's Edge Studio since their opening year in 2002 and has been a Performing Company dancer since the beginning of the program. Dianne has performed with DES All Star Teams since their inaugural team, earning many National and world titles and was a member of the 2008 World Championship All Star Pom Team. Dianne has earned scholarship opportunities and invitations to work with dance professionals in other states. You may have spotted her on two episodes of season 10's "So You Think You Can Dance" where she was featured dancing parts of her solo and partnering. Dianne has earned many top honors and awards during her competitive dance career including Miss Dance and top senior solo at Kids Artistic Revue Regionals 2010. Placed as the top scoring senior solo, also earning highest points of the entire competition at Rainbow Dance Competition, and was the top Senior solo at Starquest Regional earning the title of Miss Starquest 2010. She then traveled to Toledo for Kids Artistic Revues National competition and was crowned Miss Dance America 2010 and also earned 2nd highest scoring National Senior Solo. She place First place Open Lyrical Solo at 2010 JamFest Super Dance Nationals and was crowned Miss Dance at 2009 Kids Artistic Revue Regional. Competition. Dianne was selected as a stage dancer for the last six Lions Thanksgiving Game Half-Time shows featuring acts such as the Goo Goo Dolls, Jesse McCartney, The Motown Group, Nickel Back, and twice with Kid Rock. Dianne is also a past staff member with the Universal Dance Association and traveled throughout the United States training high school dance teams at their summer camps. She also had the opportunity to staff Regional and National UDA competitions. Starting her teaching career with assistant teaching at the age of 13, Dianne has choreographed high point award winning solo's, small groups and duet/trios for her past performing company students. She also choreographed a Jazz routine in 2011 that were titled as National Champions and where chosen to compete with the "Best of the Best" in the National Showdown at Kids Artistic Revue Nationals. Dianne just worked with the Varsity dancers of Romeo High Schools dance team and choreographed their 2015/16 Competition Pom routine.
