Yes well I do have to agree
Yes well I do have to agree that "Rock the Ballet" was lacking many aspects that make a performance exceptional. The except that is on YouTube makes the show look like a dance school review show. One section after another with no true engaging of characters or strong report on stage.
Having just returned from NZ I have not had a chance to see "Nine" but thanks to DancePlug it is on my list to go see now if I am not too late.
Nice clip of the week I definitely think we need to see more of these in the coming episodes.
Ben was right: there are some
Ben was right: there are some hot dance scenes in Rob Marshall's movie "Nine"! Saw it last night, and I was pleasantly surprised. Even though I didn't think much of the songs/music, I really enjoyed the dance scenes. Unlike other movies, you could see the choreography and the dancers (well of course since Rob Marshall both choreographed and directed, it makes sense he would show the dancing well enough!).
Word of advice: expect a movie, not a Broadway show!
