KWDP will showcase "Drift" set to the commissioned music of composer, Wes Hambright, "Purgatory," Kenneth Walker's all female ballet reflecting on the cyclical nature of life and the afterlife, and audience favorite "Flesh and Blood." Guest choreographers round out the event.

Comprised of Southern California dancers, KWDP is a vehicle for nationally recognized choreographer Kenneth Walker. Mr. Walker's choreography is well received by audiences and critics alike. John Meehan former director Hong Kong Ballet, described Walker's Savage Grace as "...a fun piece, full of energy with some nice choreographic invention;" and, Alun Jones, former director of Louisville Ballet called Savage Grace "tremendous."

Kenneth Walker Dance Project is a contemporary ballet company that presents an eclectic, innovative and razor-sharp repertoire of contemporary dance, ultimately contributing to the evolution of the art form. The company's vision is to bring the artist and audience to the poetics of the human condition and believes in the transforming capacity of art and its power to affect human lives.
