We will be holding our notorious “Open Bar / Open Rehearsal” for you to kick-back, relax and get a behind-the-scenes view of work from our upcoming production “5 X 5” showcasing LACDC repertory from 2005 – 2010. The evening will feature choreography by Terri Best, Nichol Mason, Adam Parson, Ryan Heffington and Artistic Director, Kate Hutter.

DCat Music presents: Virtual Dance Battle LIVE!

To celebrate the launch of Virtual Dance Battle, we are setting up a series of events that incorporate bracket style dance competitions. Our first of three events is on March 31st at the Rolling Stone LA, and will feature:

Host DJ Carisma from Power 106
Performance by Klaamation
Performance by Hip Hop Duo D&D
Flii Stylz (Choreographer for Chris Brown, Usher, and more)
Come compete to win cash and prizes or simply come out and enjoy an entertaining night of dance and music!

How To Sign Up:

Dance Competition for all styles ages 18 and over, individuals or no more than 7 in a crew can compete. Bring you own music on a CD. Winner gets a cash prize and will move on to Finals. The competition starts March 14th 2012 and it will continue on every Wednesdays. You will also have to fill out an agreement saying you will maintain a professional behavior before and after your performance and if you place 1st you will not be able to compete again until after Finals. Dance Competition for all styles ages 18 and over, Individuals, Crews with no more than 7 can Compete.

Center for Ballroom and Dance will be performing at the Lake Zurich Chamber of Commerce Business & Community Expo. Join us for an excerpt from the ballet The Little Mermaid, 3 routines from our Contemporary dance classes, and a professional ballroom demonstration. Admission is FREE! It's a great opportunity to see the diversity our dance studio has to offer.
