i live in jacksonville only 17 and my parents dont really support me in becoming a dancer. how do i do it on my own? where do i go for people to see me.

Sometimes you have to create dance in your own space, with power, passion, and a specific VISION. If your convictions are true, and your efforts clear sited, you will find that the dance world will find you. It takes time, it takes dedication, it takes love. If you have these ingredients, you will find that your life IS dance. You don't have to look for it, it is within you. My parents blessed me with this thought, bring dance into your life everyday and you will find that you ARE a dancer...No one gives you dance but yourself.
You will find a way. Maybe your lesson in life is to be self-giving, independent of being "needy" of others.
