Loving God and appreciating the gift that he has given him, since he was born Gerald Castle has always had an interest for dance (thanks to old television recording tapes of Michael and Janet Jackson). Not asking for it but "thankful", he was born and raised into the field of entertainment rather it was from singing, dancing, acting, and musical instruments. But out of all of these art departments, dance was the phenomenal activity that he chose to make his life satisfying and fulfilling. At the age of 13, it was "GO" time for him. Making up his mind saying that he wants to be the greatest dancer he could be, he joined fellow crew member Le’Darryl “JiG” Hart in an old dance company called JiG Saw Worldwide Dance Company. He then took that to another level and started to background dance for JiG doing many shows across Detroit. From there, Gerald’s career in dancing went to a greater amount of growth. Striving for progression each day, Gerald danced and choreographed for recording artist K'Jon, opened for recording artists Big Sean, Erykah Badu, N.E.R.D. Ginuwine, and the Clark Sisters, and has also danced and choreoraphed many local Detroit artist such as JiG, Roc Stea’D, John Brown, and many more. Gerald loved participating in many productions within his home community of Detroit such as “The Legacy Continues: A Tribute to Michael Jackson” (choreographing as well) which he promoted on Detroit’s Fox 2 News and with Live TMG. But doing shows in Detroit was not enough for Gerald. He felt that it was more out there in the world for him to see and learn. Gerald was hungry for more growth in his dance career and visited the dance capital of the world, Los Angeles, California where he trained and found many opportunities for himself: being taught by choreographers such as Lyle Beniga, Brian Puspos, Ian Eastwood, Jun Quemado, Marty Kudelka, Gigi Torres, and MANY more. After visiting Los Angeles while being in high school, it was only a matter of time before he was finished with his last two years high school, graduating, and immediately moved his life to Los Angeles where he would dance for the rest of his days.
