"Promote Yourself" is a great tool to... promote yourself!
Friends is a two-way relationship, as a follower is only one-way.
Being friend with another Plugger, allows both you and your friend to see each other’s updates in the Pulse (new info, photos, videos, status updates, etc...).
As a follower, a Plugger gets to stay updated with the Followee’s work (change of info, new photos, videos, status updates, etc...) - but the Followee does not have any connection with its followers unless they become friends.
There are different ways to make friends:
A friend request will be sent to that person. Once they confirm your request, they will be added to your Friends List.
There are two ways to remove a friend:
If you select this option, you will be removed from their Friends List as well. The Plugger removed will not be able to request a friendship. If you wish to be friends again, you will need to initiate the friend request.
Your "friends box" shows the thumbnails of randomly selected friends. The Pluggers displayed will change every time the page is refreshed. To see all your friends, go to your Community page.
There is no way to pick the friends that show up in that box.
Yes, you can invite anyone you want by using the "Tell a Friend" feature.
Click on the "Tell a Friend" grey button, which you can find in the narrow column. In the pop-up, enter your contacts e-mails (up to 100 e-mails at a time), add a message if you'd like, and send!
The comment board is for your friends to pin notes or quick messages on. You can always remove comments.
Only your DancePlug friends can see your comment board.
Unfortunately, you cannot attach a file to a Comment Board. You may only attach weblinks.
Yes, by default you get an e-mail notification when a new note has been posted on your comment board. You can choose to remove this option by going to your notification settings in you Acccount page, under "Notifications."
There are two ways to communicate with your friends:
You currently cannot attach files to a message. However you may include weblinks.

By default, you will receive notifications for new messages. You can change your notification preferences by going to the “Notifications” in your Account page.

All registered user have their own personal blog.
