Julie 'Lady Jules' Urich

Jules continues to soar to new heights every year. Starting with a career as a professional dancer she is one of the most decorated female Break dancers in the world. Some of her highlights include performing with the top female dance crew in the world, the Beat Freaks, on America’s Best Dance Crew MTV, dancing on the Oprah Winfrey show and performing alongside Madonna and Sarah Jessica Parker on consecutive Gap campaigns. She is ranked as the #1 female Break-dancer in the nation winning the Mighty4 B-Boy/B-Girl Battle. She has also performed on some of the world’s most prestigious stages such as the Victory theatre on Broadway, The Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. , and the Spoleto festival in Spoleto Italy to name a few. Now, focusing on her prospering acting career, she has recently starred as the lead in the feature film, B-Girl, alongside Wesley Jonathan, Drew Sidora, and Aimee Garcia.

Jules also performs with the legendary hip-hop performing group, the Groovaloos, and is currently one of the principle characters in the stage show “Groovaloo”, which ran for 13 sold out weeks at Gary Marshall’s Falcon Theatre . Jules is constantly training and honing her craft of acting at the prestigious Playhouse West repertory theatre and is currently in the senior advanced class. She also studies with Billy Cowert at WCI studios in Los Angeles to sharpen her skills and continue to grow and develop as an actor.

How I FREAK MY DREAM!
Everyone always asks us about our mantra "Freak The Dream" and we are always excited to share our inspiration to go out, be brave and pursue what makes you happy! The way I Freak My Dream is that I pursue acting with full force, not only that I also take a painting class (always wanted to be a painter) and I always make sure to do what makes me feel good everyday- I also get behind things that I am passionate about like my two charities I support regularly, Cat House On The Kings www.cathouseonthekings.com and The Anchor Center For blind children www.anchorcenter.com -- It's really a simple mantra, not always easy to do, but once you do take that step and follow your passions doors open EVERYWHERE and suddenly your life has a purpose far beyond your dreams!-- FREAK THE DREAM!
