I have been performing for 16 years at various places in my native Midwest, working with the IU Opera Theatre, The American Cabaret Theatre, BOBDIREX Productions, Music Theatre International, the New Opera St. Louis, Gregory Hancock Dance Theatre, and The Indianapolis School of Ballet.
Recently, I have choreographed for student dance concerts at IU, for Youth Theatre of Bloomington’s “Beauty and the Beast” and a few show choirs in Indiana. I have been lucky enough to have been awarded scholarships from the National Society of Arts and Letters and Edge Performing Arts Center in LA, as well as had the amazing experience of being involved in the casting for “High School Musical 3” and “So You Think You Can Dance” season 4. I also enjoy working administratively in the dance world, completing internships with Cathy Roe Ultimate Dance and the Indianapolis School of Ballet and focus groups/modeling for Motionwear and Leo's Dancewear.
I am now a senior at IU, where I study dance and theatre and has had the chance to work with players from "Blast!", "Movin' Out", The Martha Graham Dance Company, Paul Taylor, and David Parsons. I am also an assistant instructor for the Advanced and Intermediate Jazz and Jazz Repertory classes at IU, an instructor in the PreCollege Dance Program for children, and a member of IU Dance Theatre. I am pursuing her B.S. in Kinesiology with a Concentration in Dance as well as a Group Exercise certification through the American Council of Exercise.
