Originally from Okinawa, Japan, Rino moved to California at age 19 to pursue her dancing dream. Arriving with no formal training she immersed herself completely in her studies taking classes in all forms of dance from ballet to jazz to hip-hop. Rino is a true entertainer with incredible presence whose major influence, as an artist has been Michael Jackson. As the Harajuku Girl “Music”, with Gwen Stefani, she has toured internationally but feels most at home with her own crew The Beat Freaks. She loves the choreography process (she’s a total perfectionist!).
