This combination, in 3/4 time, incorporates intermediate level technical skills (double pirouettes, sautés, jetés and floor work), emphasizes line, flow and feeling, and brings the lyrics of the song to life through the use of the breath.


About the instructor

Terri Best is the honored recipient of the 2008 Stanley Holden Award for Distinguished Teaching. She is on faculty at Edge PAC, and has taught at the Colburn School, Loyola Marymount University and the Los Angeles County High School of the Arts. She conducts master classes and workshops throughout the U.S. and abroad. A Lester Horton Award winner, her company, Terri Best Dance, has performed at Celebrate Dance, LADI, Pasadena Dance Festival, and the Dance Under the Stars Choreography Festival.
