The Golden Globes were last night, and we have to say - dance walked away a winner. La La Land, the new musical starring Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling, snatched up Best Motion Picture: Musical or Comedy. And rightly so! Choreographer Mandy Moore took two talented but untrained dancers and turns them into graceful, enchanting movers and performers. Set in Los Angeles, the musical harkens back to the Old Hollywood musicals, with sweeping dance numbers and songs.

Emma Stone won for Best Actress in a Motion Picture: Musical or Comedy. She beat out Hollywood powerhouses Annette Benning and Meryl Streep (have you SEEN that speech she made when she accepted her lifetime achievement award?!)

If you haven't had a chance to see La La Land yet, go! It will warm up your heart during this chilly winter. And in the meantime, check out the Golden Globes opening number with Jimmy Fallon.
