David Parsons has been known for creating cutting edge work, but now he and his company, Parsons Dance, are taking it to the next level. Fascinated by the impact technology has upon the modern world, Parsons is currently working with the Expressive and Creative Interactive Technologies Center at Drexel University to create a work where drones move and soar smoothly and beautifully. He will combine dancers and drones, investigating humanity and technology. The piece will premiere in December - in the meantime, check out an interview with Parsons about the project below.
