SYTYCD: It's Back, and it's All Grown Up!

Good news for SYTYCD fans! The television series has been renewed for a fourteenth season! The competition will return this summer with dancers between the ages of 18 and 30. As before, dancers will be asked to show off their abilities in a variety of different styles, including contemporary, hip hop, tap, animation, and ballroom. The final 10 dancers will then be paired up with an All-Star, who will help them navigate the competition as they work to become America's Favorite Dancer.

From Executive Producer Nigel Lythgoe: "We’ve decided to go back to basics by bringing the best of our past formats together for an exciting new summer featuring accomplished adult competitors partnered with fan-favorite All-Star dancers. And, of course, as in past seasons, there will be new surprises which are sure to wow our viewers.”

Paula Abdul will not be returning as a judge, as her schedule is currently tied up with the Total Package Tour. No word yet on her replacement.
