Dance, by it’s nature, is a fleeting art form - just as you see it, it’s gone. Now, thanks to things like film and notations such as Laban, we are able to preserve our choreography. But what about older works? Are they lost forever? Well, thanks to people like University of North Carolina professor Kim Jones, we are able to glimpse the past. Jones, a former Graham company dancer, has been spending time re-imagining and re-staging works by the likes of Paul Taylor and Martha Graham. Read more about her work by following the link below.
