Eboni considers herself an action figure. That's right, an action figure. She keeps it moving. When she's not dancing, she is choreographing. When she's not choreographing, she is honing the craft of acting and directing. So I guess her self-proclaimed title fits.
Originally from Round Rock, Texas (30 miles north of Austin), Eboni was born to dance. Although her first ballet class wasn't until age 17, her mom recalls Eboni dancing around the house at a very young age. Wherever there was music playing you'd find Eboni leaping though the living room and shaking her tail feather. Eboni went on to major in dance at Sam Houston State University. After graduating college, Eboni hit the ground dancing. She has had a successful career as a professional dancer in both the concert and commercial world. She's been fortunate to work with Oscar-nominated director Rob Marshall and Emmy award winning choreographer Mia Michaels. From Cirque du Soleil to the L.A. Opera she has worked with many greats in the industry, the highlight of her career was dancing for Celine Dion's, "A New Day...", at Caesars Palace Las Vegas.
Eboni is passionate about all things creative. Her choreography was featured at the Swiss Music Awards, and last year she received the LA DoGooders honor of, "Best Storytelling", for a promotional video she wrote and directed for an after school organization called Educare. No matter what this action figure is up to on or off the stage; one thing is for sure, Eboni is committed to spreading the joy of dance to everyone.
