ELLENORE SCOTT is a professional dancer and choreographer from New York CIty and is fast emerging as one of America’s “young up and coming choreographers” and master teachers. Scott has carved out an impressive career that seamlessly weaves her distinctive and highly praised technical training in modern dance choreography, to her hip-hop influenced style and “quirkiness” that define her unique choreography. Scott is most recently known for being a finalist and All-Star on the hit American television series "So You Think You Can Dance?". Scott has also performed with Janet Jackson during the Essense Music Festival as well as dancing on hit shows "Smash", "82nd Annual Academy Awards" and "Dancing with the Stars". Scott's choreography has be presented at numerous festivals in NYC including Latin Choreographers Festival, New York Jazz Choreography Project, BC Beat and more. Ellenore is one of the youngest female mixed-race choreographers working in many crossover genres. Her cultural background and sensibilities brings a particularly unique perspective to her work within contemporary and commercial dance. She is the Artistic Director of NYC dance company, ELSCO Dance.
