Description

Soaking WET dance series, David Parker, curator, and Jeffrey Kazin, producer, announce the May 16-19 performances, which feature all female casts of creators and performers.
Program A: ELLIS WOOD DANCE, May 16, 17, 18 at 7 PM & May 19 at 2 PM.
The ensemble will premiere "Earthbound," in which the dancers create various spaces by moving structures to form pathways and surfaces. Within these boundaries, they explore physical and emotional states of being;
Program B: KATE DIGBY and ERIKA BATDORF, May 16, 17, 18 at 8:30 PM.
Choreographer Digby and writer Batdorf will present "The Red Horse is Leaving," written by Batdorf and inspired by the journals of her mother Thaya Whitten. The work enacts an intimate view of someone who is plagued (or blessed) by visions, and struggles to distinguish inspiration from delusion.
