Garrett Minniti has danced his way across the country and internationally with tap dance sensation Caution: Men at Work Tap, Broadways SWING! and 42nd Street. Other credits include Mike (A Chorus Line), Danny (Grease), Cosmo (Singing in the Rain), The Great American Songbook, Starring Ed Ames and Carol Lawrence (Branson, MO), and the world premier production of GIDGET, A New Musical written and directed by Francis Ford Coppola. Direction/choreography credits include numerous industrial, stage, and screen performances for companies such as Warner Brothers, Reed Productions, Sybarite Productions, Kim Freedman Productions, and Equity Fights Aids.
Garrett has taught for the EDGE Performing Arts Center (Hollywood, Ca), STEPS on Broadway (New York, NY), NYLA Dance Competitions and Conventions, as well as numerous other schools and studios on both coasts. He has taught master classes across the country and constantly strives to provide quality, energetic, and memorable dance educational experiences to students of all ages and levels. “It’s not just about dancing, it’s choosing how you are going to dance. Garrett is also the Artistic Director and co-Founder of In It For Life Productions, a new Entertainment Production Company that produces both professional theatre and dance works as well as educational programs. In It For Life produced its first Off-Broadway Showcase in June of 2007, and since then has produced 4 more choreography showcases/workshop productions and 3 dance workshops which have featured some of the countries most sought after dancers, teachers, and choreographers.
