The DancePlug Team dropped by the Hammer Museum to meet with Diane Madden, Associate Artistic Director of Trisha Brown Dance Company. As part of the Retrospective Project, a CAP UCLA series in association with two Los Angeles art museums, Diane Madden was on site at the Hammer to rehearse one of Trisha Brown's iconic work "The Floor of the Forest" with UCLA students. She talked to DancePlug about her journey with the company, Trisha's style of work and style of dancers, the process behind The Floor of the Forest, and the Retrospective Project with CAP UCLA.
