Luminario Ballet

Luminario Ballet is a contemporary ballet en pointe and aerial dance company. Our repertory spans classical ballet, contemporary, dance theatre, aerial a la Cirque du Soleil, and, classic modern dance! Every year has an exciting new premiere, and this year is no different- we premiered a neo-classical piece, Schubert's "Winterreise", a chilly fevered love story gone wrong in 1824 with guest stars from Suzanne Farrell Ballet, Kennedy Center on one end- and- on the hotter than H*LL end we premiered "The Last Supper", about when Jesus, Judas, and Mary went to Coachella 2017! Our guest choreographers range from Debbie Brown, head choreographer from Cirque du Soleil to Michael Smuin of San Francisco Ballet. Artistic director Judith FLEX Helle's ballet/aerial dance work is prominently featured via symphonic commissions and rock n roll adventures, such as "LedZAerial".
