Simoné is a creative strategist of all arts and is captivated by cultivating an audience. She has a wide range of entertainment experience as a director, producer, choreographer, dancer, singer, petite model, actress, and broadcast journalist that has leveraged a very unique and well-rounded entertainment career.
At 2 ½, she could easily handle and feel rhythm and dance. By 6, she was a well-known local dancer – part of the St. Louis Cheerleaders and Dancer’s Association for the St. Louis NFL, NHL, and NSL teams (Little Steam Heat, Redline, Blues and Twisters Dancers) who performed at all sporting and corporate events.
And the accolades just kept coming—from being featured in a Left Banks Book Store calendar to quickly landing a lead part in the St. Louis Ballet production of The Nutcracker. As a scholarship recipient of the Ray Parks Academy of Dance, she trained in all dance disciplines offered: Ballet/Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, Pompon, Cheerleading and Hip Hop for over ten years.
In high school, Simone Denise Tucker created and hosted “The Simone Zone” as part of Channel 11’s Kids Club Crew and won a raft of awards and scholarships. In addition she was talent for the television entertainment group “Team 11” (a professional dancing, singing & on air-talent group for KPLR – 11 WB affiliate. Then, at the University of Missouri in Columbia, she was one of the Golden Girls—the pinnacle of cheerleading in the state.
As an On- Air Personality, Simoné has been a host/reporter for UPN, BET, WB & ABC affiliates. She has also emceed special events such as “The Show Me State Games” and “The Special Olympics.” Her love for children and commitment to community motivated her to produce two community affair radio shows for Radio Disney and ESPN. She has been a host and talent for Radio Disney and worked for the Disney - ABC Television Network.
Now married to William Shaw Burch, Simone Denise Tucker Burch choreographs and judges for such events as: Starbound National Dance Competitions and choreographs and co-directs theatrical productions (“Footloose” G.C.T.), commercials (Esprit Jeans [UK] and music videos (“Listen” Minks). Burch serves as a talent development coach for musical artists, is on the staff at Debbie Reynolds Dance Studio (Wednesdays, 7-9:30 pm) and has directed on-air promotions and managed marketing and public relations for major corporations.
Simoné is currently producing a Short Independent Dance Film, choreographing a PSA to encourage children to read and is correspondent to “powerhouse” online dance hub, Dance Plug!
