Choreographer, Dancer, Teacher
Zoe Alexandra Thomas began dancing at a very young age in Los Angeles, California. Throughout high school, she trained under Colleen Neary at the Los Angeles Ballet School where she performed soloist roles in numerous Balanchine ballets including "Divertimento No. 15", "Raymonda", and "Serenade". Zoe continued her studies at Goucher College where she graduated with a BA in Dance Performance and Arts Administration. While attending Goucher, she had the opportunity of performing a wide variety of work with world-renowned artists and choreographers including, Brian Reeder, Zippora Karz, Amy Seiwert, Susan Jaffe, Darrell Grand Moultrie, Deborah Wingert, Gina Patterson, Emery LeCrone, and Nilas Martins. Zoe spent a semester in Brisbane, Australia where she was introduced to an entirely different form of movement, which took her dancing to a whole new level. Since moving to New York in August, she has worked on all kinds of interesting projects, most notably with BalletCollective and Barkin/Selissen Project. Zoe is loving her new home and is incredibly honored to be a part of a community of so many talented and creative artists.
