About Anh's own training and professional path:
Anh began her classical ballet education at the Conservatoire Niedermeyer in Paris, France. Continuing in Brussels, Belgium, she trained under Nicole Karys, former dancer with Bejart's Ballet du XXe Siècle and Menia Martinez, of the Cuban National Ballet and Ballet du XXe Siècle. She later expanded her training to contemporary dance forms, giving her the versatility to professionally join contemporary ballet and jazz companies as a principal dancer. While in Los Angeles, her career path took an unconventional turn as she also ventured into commercial work, from music videos (Usher) to industrials (Redken, Aveda) and TV commercials (PBS), working with LA industry choreographers such as Michael Rooney, Travis Payne, Shanda Sawyer, John Carrafa, and Kevin Wilson. Anh is the recipient of a Lester Horton Award for best performance and had the pleasure to choreograph for music artist Prince for his album 3121.
