Fight or Flight
Submitted by DancePlug on 20 December 2009 - 3:16amThe Los Angeles Contemporary Dance Company just finished its two-weekend run for their latest work "Fight or Flight".
The show was composed of three 20-minute pieces, choreographed by Adam Parson, Scott Hislop, and LACDC artistic director Kate Hutter. Each piece presented a life struggle or challenge and the outcome when taking things in hand. This very diverse show, from fast-paced drama to intricate lyrical, and of course quirky comedy, drew you right into the characters.
Congratulations to the choreographers for their captivating interpretations, and to all the dancers, who represented each style and story beautifully.
