I am a secondary school dance teacher from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I have been fortunate to teach in a school board that understands, values, and promotes dance to all students form Kindergarten to Grade 12. As a young dancer, I studied in London, Ontario with Jean Campbell and Tamara Rogerson. I completed R.A.D. exams in Ballet as well as BATD and ISTD exams in Jazz. Upon graduation from high school, I was accepting into the University of Waterloo Honours BA Dance program where I honed my ballet and modern technique and concepts in choreography under Susan Cash, Judith Miller, and many other wonderful dance educators. After graduation, I decided to pursue Teacher Education and became an Ontario certified teacher in Drama, Phys. Ed, and Dance. I have been teaching dance in schools since 2001. Now, as a 'mature' dancer, I continue to take classes and workshops. I discovered how much I enjoy latin and ballroom dancing and am currently focusing my training in those areas. I love to dance! It is my passion and my life!
