Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed: September 24, 2026
DancePlug is committed to providing an inclusive online experience for dancers, instructors, contributors, customers, and visitors with disabilities. Our goal is to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA across DancePlug’s public website, account areas, online classes, purchasing flows, forms, and editorial content.
Conformance status
DancePlug is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some content or features do not yet fully meet the standard. Newer page templates, account areas, and purchasing flows are tested with automated tools and keyboard-only checks. We have not yet tested with screen readers and plan to add that testing; some older archive content and third-party experiences described below may not yet meet every requirement.
Our approach
Accessibility is included in our design, development, content, and testing practices. We work to provide semantic headings and landmarks, keyboard access, visible focus, meaningful labels and alternatives, sufficient color contrast, responsive reflow, reduced-motion support, accessible validation and status messages, and compatibility with current browsers and assistive technologies.
Ongoing work
DancePlug contains a large archive of classes, videos, interviews, articles, auditions, events, and user-contributed information. We review representative page types and interactive states, address issues as they are found, and improve older material as it is updated. Accessibility is an ongoing process rather than a one-time certification.
Known limitations
Class and archive videos do not currently have captions or transcripts. If you need help with a class or video, contact us and we will work with you to provide the information another way.
Third-party content
Some experiences are provided by third parties, including Stripe payment interfaces, Cloudflare Turnstile security checks on sign-in, registration, and checkout, Bunny.net video delivery, embedded YouTube and Vimeo videos, Zendesk support, and externally linked content. We select and configure these services with accessibility in mind and will help identify an alternative way to complete a task when a third-party limitation creates a barrier.
Feedback and assistance
If you have difficulty accessing DancePlug, need information in another format, or want help completing a task, email info@danceplug.com or submit a request through DancePlug Support. Please include the page or feature, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology used when possible.
We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 2 to 5 business days and to provide a substantive response or reasonable alternative as soon as practical.
