1. Collection of Personal Information

In addition, DancePlug collects other non-Personal Information including IP address, aggregate user data, and browser type. This information is gathered for all DancePlug visitors. 2.1. Children Under Age 14

The use of the Services and Site is reserved to persons over 14 years of age. DancePlug does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 14 or knowingly allow such persons to register. If you are under 14, please do not attempt to register for DancePlug or send any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, or email address. No one under age 14 may provide any personal information to or on DancePlug. 3. Use of Information Obtained by DancePlug

When you register or re-register with DancePlug, you create your own profile and privacy settings. Your profile information, as well as your name, email and photo, are displayed to people in the networks specified in your privacy settings to enable you to connect with people on DancePlug.

Profile information is used by DancePlug primarily to be presented back to and edited by you when you access the service and to be presented to others permitted to view that information by your privacy settings. In some cases where your privacy settings permit it (e.g., comment wall, personal blog), other DancePlug users may be able to supplement your profile.

Profile information you submit to DancePlug will be available to users of DancePlug who you allowed to access the information through your privacy settings (private view). Your name, profile picture thumbnail, and basic information will be available in search results across the DancePlug network and those limited pieces of information may be made available to third party search engines. This is primarily so your friends can find you and send a friend request. People who see your name in searches, however, will not be able to access your entire profile information as set in your private/public view settings.

We also use your e-mail address to send you newsletters, as well as messages about DancePlug special offers, consumer surveys and other service-related announcements. Occasionally, we may send these materials to you via postal mail, using the shipping address provided. If you no longer want to receive the newsletters, other announcements, simply access the Email Subscriptions page in your Account page and uncheck those items to unsubscribe. Please note that you cannot unsubscribe from certain correspondence from us, including messages relating to your account transactions.

We keep track of your interactions with us, including but not limited to your site activity, payment history and correspondence. 4.3. Third Party Advertising

Advertisements that appear on the Site are sometimes delivered (or "served") directly to users by third party advertisers. They automatically receive your IP address when this happens. 5. Changing or Removing Information

Access and control over most personal information on DancePlug is readily available through the profile editing tools. DancePlug Users may modify or delete any of their profile information at any time by logging into their account. Information will be updated immediately. Users who wish to deactivate their DancePlug membership may do so on their Account page. Removed information may persist in backup copies for a reasonable period of time but will not be generally available to members of DancePlug.

Where you make use of the communication features of the service to share information with other individuals on DancePlug, however, (e.g., sending a personal message to another DancePlug user) you generally cannot remove such communications.

You are responsible for updating and maintaining the truth and accuracy of the personal information you provide to DancePlug relating to your account. If you want to update your contact information, you should do so by visiting your Account section of the Site. You must be signed in to access your Account. DancePlug takes information security very seriously and uses reasonable administrative, technical and managerial measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access. For example, we utilize Secure Sockets Layering, an industry-standard protocol for certain of your transmissions to us, in order to encrypt the personal information that you send to us through the registration and sign up process. We store your email address in an encrypted form.
