Anh's Advanced Ballet Class #3
The cou-de-pied and the attitude position run through the whole class, from the first warm-up to the center, in different steps and at different levels. Rotations en dedans join them: in the adage, the inner thigh starts the movement.
The center adage treats the promenade as a slow-motion test for the pirouette. Keep the attitude square, with both arms solid in front of the body, then take the same frame into a turn.
Petit allegro puts it together in a balloté. The medium allegro closes on an attitude derrière and can be made grand with a slower tempo.
