Bertha's Intermediate Ballet Class #4
Turnout, hips in place and posture are the focus, for dancers who know what to do at the barre.
The pliés run through first, second, fourth and fifth. They are marked with port de bras and finish with a balance. Next come tendus from fifth, with a plié and without. The foot you place first is the one you work with. Arms join in the second round.
It closes with a coup de pied balance.
