Chasin' Away

Footwork drill on the chase, a foundation of house dance and the root of many other steps. Knees stay bent, and the groove and the jack drive it.

Step out with the right foot. Cross the same foot in front. Repeat on the other side, turning as you cross. The back foot does a small trick: it turns out on the heel as the front foot steps. The second eight is more repetitive with the legs.

Stay on your toes. It keeps you fluid and adds style.
