Joelle Martinec is a choreographer/educator/dancer well known for creating stimulating and motivating performances of real life for stage. Joelle’s fast paced movement and exuberant energy bring out parts of you that might be sleeping that day. You know without a doubt that she is there for you. No matter how much experience the dancer has, Joelle takes the time to correct and work with her students. Her love and passion for life, people and technique shines brightly through her class and her work. Versatility is apparent in her choreography as well. She can teach anything from Tango Inspired and West Coast Jazz, Musical Theatre, Modern Contemporary and Lyrical. As a dancer, Joelle Martinec, can be seen in feature films “The Big Lebowski”, "A Time For Dancing” and in the award winning music video “It’s Ohh So Quiet”. Joelle was featured as “The Business Woman” on GLEE’s episode titled “Feud”. She is founder and artistic director SoleVita Dance Company. Joelle has choreographed music videos for Ashley Chambliss, Adjoa Skinner, Erin Muir, Brad Stanley and The Foxflies as well as events for the Nokia Theatre and LA Fashion week. Joelle is currently on faculty at Edge PAC and has been called “The teachers teacher”.
