Corina's Beginner Ballet Class #1
Make this ballet barre class yours. If the arms are too much, put them on your hip. If you want more, add port de bras.
The class opens with alignment: hips lifted up and forward so two thirds of your weight sits over the toes, back of the neck long, ribs soft. From there, barre work builds feet, legs and coordination, then moves to the center with a traveling pirouette and small jumps. In the hard technical moments, look for breath and expression.
