Corina's Advanced Ballet Class #1
What can you let go of in this ballet barre class? The class starts light and asks for only what you need: no gripping in the foot, the thigh, the neck or the shoulders.
Tendus change from soft to thick and greedy. Frappés are playful, light and quick. Développés carve out big shapes with the fingertips and toes. Then, before a pirouette, the plié becomes a deep wind-up, like a rubber band.
In center, the imagination and the eyes carry the adagio. Directional changes, a jump combination and a final grand jump follow.
