Fancy Footwork
Feet first: this jazz across-the-floor exercise builds foot articulation as it travels and spends most of its time in forced arch: demi-plié, heel lifted, tailbone under, lower core engaged.
You change spot, travel on big steps and keep the weight on the balls of your feet. Arms are clear and the pathways clean. They stretch and expand past the fingertips into the next room.
Two eight-counts can be repeated across the floor as many times as there's room.
