Polyrhythms
A polyrhythm drill that gives two parts of the body different jobs: two rhythms at the same time, one on the feet and one on the hands. Start with just two and add more as you get comfortable.
The feet step a small box: front, front, back, back, with the hips thrown forward and back. The hands cross, tap twice and point, but on the opposite side from the foot. Go slow first. Then flip the speeds, with slow, juicy feet under fast hands, or the reverse.
