Isolations and Articulation
An isolation exercise for articulating one body part at a time. Start with the head. Isolate one body part at a time, and notice what the rest of your body does while it moves.
Work through the head, shoulders, torso, hips, knees and heels. Find the ends of your range, and try places you often forget, like the back body or one side only.
Then link them. Start from the shoulder and carry the movement through elbow, wrist and fingertips, and you have a wave.
There are no fours or eights. Pick a pace and stay with each part.
