Light Footwork Groove
Get into your body and find your groove with this across-the-floor exercise. Kick, switch, push it back, then go the other way. Everything stays on the balls of your feet, with a slight relevé the whole time. Lose the bounce and the footwork looks heavy and slows down.
Lean forward and back, take quick diagonal steps, then drop an arm to the floor. Let the arms stay natural: when we think hard, the work tends to travel into the arms, so relax them.
Pretend to strum a guitar for the relaxed moment, then repeat across the floor.
