Chaîné Drag with Direction Changes

In this exercise you will work on levels, direction change, and syncopation. The counts aren't even, so listen for the syncopation before you add the music.

A chaîné in plié opens into a lyrical drag with a big lift through the body, then a small contraction on four. The piqué arabesque can stay low: it's the breath out of it that matters, not the height.
