Working Through the Spine
This spine exercise moves you from the tailbone to the crown of the head. You fold at the hips and roll up through the spine, then reverse it with the head going first. A relevé melts down to a quiet seat, and you swing back up off the floor.
Think forward rather than up to stand. It uses momentum instead of the legs alone, and it is a lot easier. Engage the core and let the spine relax so the movement flows.
