Heel Dig
This tap exercise lets the heel of the foot fall to the floor. The sound is a dig: heel after heel, steady and clear.
All the ease lives in the supporting leg. It straightens as the working foot rises, then softens as the heel strikes. Add your body weight and the sound gains tone.
