Hip Rolls & Isolations

A hip-control exercise that moves from smooth, isolated hip rolls to hard, sharp hip stops. Slow hip rolls come first: think of a big circle, down and around, with your feet pressed into the floor. Step together and sway from side to side.

Then the hips hit. Hands stay on them so you can focus on stopping them hard and clean, knee crossed and sitting into the right hip.
