In this exercise we focus on using the common transition steps of pas de bouree and channe to travel and change directions across the floor.
Jessica Walker is a performer, choreographer and educator with a versatile career spanning Broadway, Film, TV and more. Performance highlights include Movin’ Out, Wicked, Cirque du Soleil’s Paramour, Phantom of the Opera, SMASH, ABC’s Dirty Dancing, Radio City Christmas Spectacular, The Metropolitan Opera and more. Jessica is an associate choreographer for SIX The Musical and David O Russell’s upcoming film Amsterdam starring Christian Bale, Margot Robbie and more. She made her Off Broadway choreographic debut at Theater Row with The Magnificent Seven. As an educator, Jessica is passionate about sharing her love of dance in a nurturing, supportive and inclusive environment. Her classes emphasize the importance of technique, musicality and artistry while encouraging dancers of all levels to reach their maximum potential. Jessica has taught at USC, Loyola Marymount, UNSCA, Western Oregon University, The Joffrey Ballet School, Millennium Dance Complex, Steps on Broadway, Equinox, Showstopper National Dance Conventions and more.
