This exercise is designed to get a dancer on their leg through controlled shifts of the pelvis bringing our awareness to our gate and inviting nuance to the work. The first half of the exercise will get your feet articulating and encourages an overall sense of energetic organization. The second half will ask the body to be free by minimizing effort and relaxing into momentum.
