First Abby Lee Miller, and now Joshua Allen! The season 4 winner of So You Think You Can Dance has been sentenced to a year in jail for domestic violence.
Allen pleaded no contest to willfully injuring his ex-girlfriend, but he was found guilty and has been ordered to serve a year in prison along with five years of formal probation. He is also required to stay away from the victim for 10 years.
Last April Allen allegedly assaulted and strangled his girlfriend, two months later sources claim that he followed her into a coffee shop and proceeded to attack her until innocent bystanders came to her aid. During this horrific scene he apparently threw a vase and vandalized the coffee shop. All in all, it’s not looking good for the SYTYCD winner.
He may have won America’s heart back in 2008, but I think it’s safe to say that relationship is effectively ruined. Not cool Josh… not cool!
