Happy humpday Pluggers, and happy Broadway season! Spring is in the air, and it’s time for the musical theater lovers to shine. This year, the Tony Awards are sure to be a great time (as per usual), and the main nominees - well, they’re so FETCH.
“Mean Girls: The Musical” has scored a total of 12 Tony nominations! With a stellar cast, killer choreography, and great direction, it’s no shock that the show has done so well. Another Broadway show with 12 nominations - “SpongeBob Squarepants: The Musical”! The yellow sponge who lives under the sea has hit a home run, and we’re all heading to the crabby patty to celebrate this impressive feat. Following close behind is “The Band’s Visit,” “Carousel,” and “My Fair Lady.” The Tony Awards are going to be a great mix of new meat and revived classics this year, and we cannot wait.
So set those DVRs for June 10th, and get ready to see who takes home the award. And feel free to tell us who you think will win! Or put it in your burn book… no judgment 😉
