Abby Lee Miller may be headed down a slippery slope, but it sounds like the lifetime series will be going on without her.

The hit show “Dance Moms,” will continue with Cheryl Burke acting as Abby Lee Miller’s replacement. The “Dancing With The Stars” pro will step in as the young girls’ teacher for the rest of the season.

Burke had some interesting things to say about Miller after an exhibition performance for “DWTS,” “It's going great. The girls are so precious and I feel like they're traumatized from what has happened with Abby and it's important for me to still be strict and do what I do and I expect nothing but the best from the girls but it's also important for me to make them feel confident about themselves because they're all beautiful, they're all talented.”

An air date has yet to be announced, but we can expect to see Burke on episodes later this year. So stay tuned “Dance Moms” fans, there’s a new sheriff in town!
